Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American singer and actress is very famous. Sara Ramirez was raised with her American mother. She encountered a number of racial slurs, which led her to feel unwelcome. She began to gain confidence in the ninth grade when she entered a school audition and was highly praised for her singing. The event not only helped her gain confidence but changed the direction she was heading in her life. In 1992 she graduated with her master's degree from the city's Julliard School. At the age of 23, her first Broadway appearance in Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her film debut You've Got Mail, were her biggest breakthroughs. The part in The lad from The Lake is her greatest break, earning her the Tony Award in addition to the acclaim of critics for her performance. In the following year, she was cast as the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gain more fame.
