Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress, best famous for her portrayal of the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama, and the medical thriller The Resident. She also received acclaim for her television debut breakthrough in the role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap series Guiding Light. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch are among her most notable films role. She is reportedly making a film adaptation of Elisabeth KublerRoss's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides the pair that wrote the film Immortals. Also, she is working on a new show called Gods & Heroes.
