Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born 13 June 1962 in the US, is an actress. Her film debut was with the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as a member of the Brat Pack group of actors and starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received with the Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead in her character in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy is an American actor and author. At the beginning of the 80s, she started her career as a film actress with the thriller Bad Boys. She was highly acclaimed for the film. The film was starring Rick Rosenthal as well as Sean Penn, Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. Following her first film, she appeared in 1985's comedy and drama The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film, directed by him, is one of the greatest films from high school in history. Although the budget was just $1 million its earnings crossed the mark of $50 million. When she was on CBS Schoolbreak, which was also her debut on television. This show aimed at teenagers and started in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues are other television shows in which she was featured. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, with Sheedy as an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy has won many prizes in 2005 for her performances. She also received the by the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
