Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik, Iceland. She also trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie is the first female to take home in the CrossFit Games twice. In 2010, she placed second. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion, and a popular media figure. She became famous for becoming the first woman to have been awarded twice at the CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. Her other achievements include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2017 and 2013. Annie as well as her the rest of her family, were born to Reykjavik Iceland. Being a sports and working out enthusiast from an early age, she took part in various school games and also won numerous awards. In 2009, Annie Thorisdottir participated in the CrossFit event in California. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 in 2021. She stands 5'7 tall and her weight is about 67 pounds. It was in her second year of competition that she took part again in CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she was the first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie also won in the CrossFit Games because of her outstanding performance. In addition, she was the first female athlete who won two CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she also won a gold medal. Then in 2021 she was awarded with a bronze. Annie trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her concept. In the last few years, as an athlete, Annie has appeared as a spokesperson of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae and many others. Aside from that, she has a self-titled Youtube channel with a few thousand followers where her workout diet family videos and travel vlogs are uploaded.
